Rock’n the Ranch at the RustyRavin 5th Annual Music Festival

Rock’n the Ranch at the RustyRavin 5th Annual Music Festival is a “must attend” if you love music, food, beer, and camping. We have an amazing line up of Alaska’s premier bands. Blackwater Railroad, I like Robots, Danger Money, Jared Woods & Woodrow, Mario Carboni (The HonkyTonk Rebel), Braided River, Zero Miles to Empty and Tune Weavers.
We offer a beautiful grassy spacious lawn, directly in front of the stage. Bring your comfy lawn chair to kick back in and enjoy the show. Plenty of room for social distancing. No matter the weather, we will have you covered. This is a family friendly event that everyone will enjoy. The kids (and adults) love all the animals. Mini pigs, mini goats, mini donkeys and all the birds. Even the peacocks occasionally like to sing to the bands.
Rock’n the Ranch Music Festival is so much different than “OTHER MUSIC FESTIVALS”!
Limited tickets – means no crowds.
Many portable potties and handwashing stations throughout the grounds – means you will not be waiting in a long line, AND your portable potty will be CLEAN – guaranteed!
Beer Garden – We have strategically placed the beer garden so that it has easy access. With an overabundance of volunteer bartenders, it only takes seconds to receive that cold one AND not 15 minutes waiting in that long line like “other” venues.
Food Trucks and Vendors – Are situated on a lush, beautiful lawn. This means you will be able to have an assortment of goodies to eat and shop for those Alaska made gifts. There are tables and chairs set up for your dining experience ?
Parking and Camping – FREE!! With over 6 acres of pasture, there is plenty of room for parking and for those that would like to camp. It is less than a 3-minute walk from parking to the stage. Not like those other music festivals that you must pay for parking, or walk across a busy highway or take a shuttle. Campers are welcome to arrive on Friday Morning and stay till Monday.
All proceeds donated – This is the main fundraising event for a local nonprofit, Nuk’it’un, a transitional home for men located in Kenai. The Nuk’it’un Home has helped dozens of men who are transitioning from corrections to society. If you would like more information on Nuk’it’un, please send a email to nukitun@yahoo.com.
Volunteers – This event could never happen without our amazing volunteers. We are so thankful for each one of our volunteers who take time out of their busy hectic schedule to help us make Rock’n the Ranch such a unique fun music festival

Spend a day strolling historic downtown streets where merchants and vendors sell Alaska-made wares, and your favorite food carts offer everything from corn fritters to gyros, deep-fried onions to traditional cotton candy.

While you’re here, take a walk along Resurrection Bay, hike some of our less insane trails (leave Mt. Marathon to the runners!) and enjoy what Seward is all about — getting outside, exploring, and having fun with friends and family! In a small town like ours, you’re certain to run into a familiar or friendly face.

The night before the race, pick a good spot to watch our Fourth of July Fireworks Display. The fireworks launch from the Harbor Uplands, near the Mariners Memorial. You can spot them from all over town, but some favorite viewing spots include the Seward Waterfront Park, Seward Boat Harbor, or on a boat in the bay. The show starts at midnight (12:01 a.m.), once it is actually dark enough to light up the sky!

Our Mission continues to be to showcase Kenai Peninsula grown food, to foster consumer-producer relationships, and to serve as an incubator for new business. We have over two dozen vendors and hundreds of visitors on a typical Saturday. We operate at the Soldotna Elementary School bus turn around at the corner of Kenai Spur Highway and East Corral Ave. Our hours of operation are Saturdays, June thru September, 10 am. – 2 p.m.
